Fathers Day pizza party

For fathers day we decided to have a "make your own pizza day". We made a bunch of Shirley J pizza dough and every topping you can imagine. We had so much fun making and tasting everybodies different pizzas. They were incredibly tasty. At the end we still had dough left over, so Ashley made two really good deserts with the dough and oatmeal, brown sugar magic. What a fun day. We were all very amazed what a mess we made in the kitchen! Good times!

Brad Wendts Wedding

June 13, 2009 was a special day for Brad. He and Glenna Joe were married in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. Here we are on the steps of the Temple and you can see that Brad is on cloud nine. We have been friends with Brad since he was about 4 years old. I saved him from a bad tangle with a mean barbed wire fence and he still has the scar on his face from that. Brad is a special friend and we wish him the best. He has grown up to be a wonderful man. Congratulations Brad and Glenna Joe. Have a wonderful future together.

Best quote of the day

I'm reading "Little Britches" by Ralf Moody. I know I kind of missed it for the book club. It was written in 1950 which is my childhood era. The Father in the book is a lot like my Dad, he tells his son..."Son, the best boss is the one who bosses the least. Whether it's cattle, or horses, or men; the least government is the best government." I love that, it is so true!

Cora Rose Green

This litttle beauty was blessed and named today. Her name is Cora Rose Green. We will want to teach her about her namesake, Cora Rose Johnson Judd. She was a wonderful example to all who knew her. We all loved to go visit Aunt Cora in Colonia Juarez. We are so happy to have a Cora Rose in the family again.
